Stocker

Position Summary

The Hardlines Stocker plays a key role in creating the unique shopping experience that Marden's is known for. As a surplus and salvage retailer, our merchandise is constantly changing, meaning no twoworkdaysare never the same. One day you may be stocking shelves, and the next you may becreating an entirely newendcap/display or transforming a department with exciting new merchandise.

This position is responsible for receiving, stocking, organizing, and merchandising products while maintaining a clean, safe, and visually appealing sales floor. The General Stocker provides exceptional customer service and thrives in a fast-paced environment where flexibility, teamwork, and initiative are essential.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload,consolidate, and stock merchandise throughout the store.
  • Build attractive merchandise displays, endcaps, and promotional features that enhance the customer shopping experience.
  • Re-merchandise departments as new products arrive, often redesigning displays or entire sales areas to showcase changing inventory.
  • Stock, replenish, rotate, and organize merchandise to maximize product visibility and sales.
  • Ensure merchandise is accurately priced, signed, and displayed according to company standards.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe sales floor and stockroom areas.
  • Assist customers by locating merchandise, answering questions, loading purchases when needed, and providing outstanding customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with management and fellow associates to prioritize merchandising projects and daily tasks.
  • Adapt quickly to changing inventory, shifting priorities, and evolving merchandising needs.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Operate equipment safely and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall store operations.

Qualifications
