Job description

Store Receiver/Stocker - Aberdeen, SD

If you want a job that keeps active and moving, then this is it!  In this role, you will receive and stock products (dry, frozen and cooler products), maintain inventories, transfer merchandise from the warehouse to the Cash-Wa Direct store, assist with cashier and carryout duties, and help keep operations running smoothly. Success in this position requires attention to detail, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to work safely while handling products that may require frequent lifting and movement.

Hours: 

  • Monday – Friday;  9am-6pm

 

Starting Pay: $16/hr 

Job Duties

Inventory  (about 70% of the job)

  • Check in orders and validate against the purchase orders (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
  • Stock received product to proper locations in the warehouse
  • Transfer products from the warehouse to the Cash-Wa Direct store as needed throughout the day and stocking shelves
  • Maintain product inventory including monthly cycle counting

Front Counter Help (about 20% of the job)

  • Assisting front counter with checking or carryout when needed.

Maintenance Help (about 10% of the job)

  • Maintain and keep warehouse and Cash-Wa Direct store clean.
  • Report repairs and maintenance needed to management

Other Duties as Assigned

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalency
  • Ability to read orders and correctly pull product
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs, occasionally up to 80 lbs
