Description

ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT: FireLake Express Grocery 

SUPERVISOR: Store Manager 

FLSA:  Non-exempt

SALARY: $12.00-$17.00 per hour


JOB TITLE: 

A stocker is responsible for maintaining customer services. He/she is responsible for stocking and maintaining inventory levels, controlling expenses, shortages, and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control. He/she is responsible for maintaining excellent housekeeping procedures during stocking of store.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a customer friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of customer service. 
  • Implement and maintain customer service standards. 
  • Maintain all merchandising standards, display presentation and monitor inventory levels. 
  • Ensure housekeeping policies are maintained during stocking procedures.
  • Maintain adherence to all company policies and procedures, emphasizing loss prevention and safety. 
  • Any other duties as assigned by management. 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform other duties and projects as required by management


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Ability to communicate with associates and customers. 
  • Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation.
  • Ability to freely access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock area, and register area.
  • Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to perform his/her duties. 
  • Ability to climb ladders.
  • Ability to move or transfer merchandise throughout the store generally weighing 0-100 pounds.      
  • Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates. 
  • Any other duties as assigned by store director.
