Shipping & Receiving/Parts Stocker

Vermeer All Roads/ Seymour, CT

Do you enjoy helping customers, researching and shipping & receiving? If you are dependable, eager to learn and ready for a new opportunity, we want to talk to you! Vermeer All Roads in Seymour, CT is searching for as a Shipping & Receiving/Parts Stocker. Ideal candidate will have some parts experience. This role is responsible for the coordination and sales of parts to all internal and external customers.

Salary & Schedule

$17-20 per hour (based on experience)

Full Time Monday -Friday 7 am - 5 pm

Responsibilities

  1. Assisting customers in selecting required parts
  2. Accurately shipping & receiving equipment parts
  3. Providing price quotes, receiving payments, and obtaining credit authorizations
  4. Following up with customers regarding back-ordered parts
  5. Be familiar with the latest industry trends and technical advancements and successfully apply them in daily activities
  6. Assist shop technicians by retrieving and ordering parts for existing work orders
  7. Coordinate any procurementof necessary parts in conjunction with the assistant parts manager
  8. Prior experience operating a forklift
  9. All other duties as assigned

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
