We are looking for a reliable and efficient store Stocker to join our team. As a Stocker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store shelves are properly stocked and organized to meet customer needs. You will be responsible for receiving, unpacking, and shelving merchandise, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

  • Receive, inspect, and unpack merchandise deliveries in a timely manner. 

  • Check inventory against purchase orders and ensure accuracy in quantities and quality. 

  • Organize and stock shelves, racks, and displays according to planograms and store layout guidelines. 

  • Rotate products to ensure the oldest stock is placed at the front to maintain freshness. 

  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock or potential shortages. 

  • Assist with periodic inventory counts and contribute to accurate inventory records. 

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the stockroom, backroom, sales floor areas. 

  • Ensure proper labeling and pricing of products and update as necessary. 

  • Assist customers with locating items and provide friendly, helpful customer service. 

  • Collaborate with the store team to implement promotional displays and maintain an attractive store appearance. 

  • Adhere to safety and security guidelines, including proper handling of hazardous materials and compliance with health and sanitation regulations. 

  • Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and loss prevention. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Must have a people first mentality; “Fast Friendly Service with a Smile”. 

  • Prior experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred but not required. 

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. 

  • Previous experience in retail or stock handling is preferred but not required. 

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 

  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy boxes or objects. 

  • Basic math skills for inventory tracking and price calculations. 

  • Strong communication and customer service skills. 

  • Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic. 

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
