 Job Summary
Ellis Home & Garden on Richmond Rd. in Texarkana, TX is now accepting applications for a Stockman/Greenhouse Associate - Seasonal position. This position will help operate our store on a day-to-day basis. Ellis Home & Garden is a family-owned and operated business that offers flexible scheduling, a family-oriented atmosphere, and a great working environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
This position will be responsible for working in our Greenhouse, stocking and providing customer service throughout the store. Duties include, but are not limited to:  tending to our plants and flowers inside the Greenhouse, unloading delivery trucks, loading customer purchases and stocking merchandise throughout the store. Experience working with plants and Greenhouse knowledge is preferred, but not required.
Qualifications and Skills
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Some college preferred
  • Lifting 50+/- pounds repeatedly
    • Pottery, Soil/Mulch, Concrete, Furniture, etc.
  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions periodically
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Retail point of sale experience preferred
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Experience working in a Greenhouse/Garden Center setting
  • Must be available Nights & Weekends
  • Must be 18 years of age
Pay starting $12.00 per hour; dependent upon experience
