Description

A Stocker performs general stocking duties on a daily basis including storing and stocking product.

Requirements

Essential functions

  • Load product for customers
  • Move, handle, and transport product, or supplies
  • Operate tools and equipment safely
  • Perform general stocking duties
  • Perform general cleaning duties
  • Comply with Loss Prevention guidelines
  • Help and assist customers in finding merchandise and providing information
  • Greet and talk politely with customers
  • Comply with supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits, and attitude
  • Function as a team member and get along with others
  • Adhere to daily work schedule
  • Work weekends, any shift, holidays and overtime as needed
  • Work in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform other duties as needed and assigned

Physical requirements

  • Push/pull a loaded stock cart
  • Operate heavy equipment; Forklifts, baler, etc. (will train)


Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous experience in receiving, handling, and stocking in retail or warehouse/distribution environments preferred


Age requirement

Minimum age 18
