What we do:

The Trade Desk (TTD) is seeking a Senior Stock Plan Administrator to join our team.  This position will report to the Manager, Stock Administration. This role will be responsible for assisting with the administration of TTD's equity programs.

What you'll do:

  • Administer TTD's equity programs for all global employees, while working closely with outside service providers
  • Process equity award grants, vesting, and release of restricted stock units (RSUs) and stock option exercises, while ensuring timely and accurate tax withholding and reporting to payroll and regulatory agencies
  • Assist with administering our Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), including assisting in the processing of semi-annual ESPP purchases
  • Effectively and promptly respond and resolve employee equity inquiries and concerns
  • Partner effectively and proactively with internal business partners including Human Resources, Legal, Accounting, Payroll and employees
  • Assist with the preparation of Form 4 filings
  • Prepare equity reports and assist in the review and reconciliation of equity information
  • Assist with global mobility processing and compliance for equity transactions
  • Train and educate employees about TTD's equity programs
  • Comply with The Trade Desk's stock administration SOX procedures
  • Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as requested

Who you are: 

  • 5+ years of stock administration experience, including administration of plans with stock options, RSUs and ESPP
  • Familiar with SEC rules and regulations related to equity disclosures
  • Works well in a high-pressure, high-volume environment and able to juggle multiple assignments, concurrent deadlines and changing priorities
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees
  • Customer service oriented and able to build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Experience with Equity Edge Online, Workiva, Power Automation and Workday
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
  • CEP designation preferred, or in process
  • Working knowledge of U.S. federal, state and global taxation of equity compensation requirements
  • Advanced Excel skills, with VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables experience
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and strong work ethic
