Position Summary
The Shareholder Relations Assistant I serves as point of contact for Wilson Bank Holding Company stock-related inquiries from shareholders and team members. This position processes stock transactions, handles correspondence with shareholders and files required SEC reports. The Shareholder Relations Assistant I reports to the Manager, Shareholder Relations and provides excellent service and support to team members and customers while demonstrating the Company's values and supporting the mission.
Position Duties & Responsibilities
  • Serve as point of contact for Wilson Bank Holding Company (WBHC) stock-related inquiries from shareholders and team members
  • Assist shareholders with obtaining documentation required to process WBHC stock transactions
  • Utilize stock accounting software to track and process stock transactions
  • Process payment of WBHC dividends and facilitate the mailing of statements
  • Responsible for all correspondence with shareholders
  • Prepare and mail tax documentation related to WBHC stock
  • Assist with WBHC shareholder meeting, including documentation of proxies and in-person voting
  • File reports related to WBHC stock with the SEC as required
  • Maintain the WBHC stock waiting list
  • Stay abreast of Wilson Bank & Trust products in order to serve as a personal banker for WBHC shareholders
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, and reviewing professional publications
  • Adhere to compliance with all federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program
  • Attend training as requested
  • Participate in outside community activities as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 1 year of banking experience preferred
  • 1 year of customer service experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to serve customers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Ability to build relationships with customers and internal teammates
  • Basic organization and time management skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain working knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures, and systems
