Summary:
As the Carrier Representative you will grow relationships and facilitate freight opportunities to licensed motor carriers to ensure delivery of capacity, problem solving, and outstanding logistics solutions to our customers. We want to leverage your skills and years of experience to drive positive results while ensuring a bright future for yourself and STS. What You'll Do:
  • Communicate with customers, potential customers, and licensed motor carriers.
  • Build, develop, grow and maintain relationships with licensed motor carriers.
  • Plan and facilitate customer deliveries.
  • Administrative duties which align with each assigned shift.
  • Proactively communicate with customers on potential service failures and create action plans to avoid issues in the future.
  • Execute legging/street turn/empty repositioning functionality in Rail Optimizer.
  • Manage equipment, including chassis and containers.
  • Maintain proper records and ensure information was executed correctly and on time.
  • Shifts are subject to change at any time.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
  • 1 year of experience in operations or dispatch environment.
  • 2 years of logistics or transportation experience.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Compensation & Benefits Information:
  • Salary Range: $56,000 - $79,937
