What is a stevedore manager?

Stevedore Managers are professionals responsible for overseeing the loading and unloading of cargo from ships at ports or docks. They manage teams of dockworkers (stevedores), coordinate logistics to ensure safe and efficient cargo handling, and enforce safety protocols. Their role involves planning operations, liaising with shipping companies and port authorities, and addressing any issues that arise during cargo transfer. Stevedore Managers play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth flow of goods in maritime shipping operations.
