Details:
Solutions Architect - Sterling File Gateway
Location: Alpharetta, GA or Berkeley Heights, NJ - Hybrid
Duration: 6-12 months CTH
Required:
  • Expert knowledge of IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) with more than ten (10) years of hands on experience on SFG
  • Strong experience with capacity planning, scalability, performance, and load testing.
  • Strong knowledge of integration concepts and commonly used patterns, able to apply such knowledge in solution design
  • Experience or strong knowledge of communication and data handling protocols (AS2, PGP/GPG, S/MIME, HTTPS, FTPS/SFTP/SCP/OFTP, POP3/SMTP, Web Services/SOAP/REST, WebDAV, etc.)
  • Experience or strong knowledge of industry data standards (ACH, ANSI X12, EDIFACT, HIPAA, RosettaNet, SWIFT, TRADCOMS, etc.)
  • Experience or strong knowledge of application programming/scripting technologies (.Net/Java/J2EE, AJX, ASP, BPEL/BPML, SQL, XSLT, Linux/Unix/Windows shell scripts)
  • Experience with .Net/Java based frameworks and solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise database technologies like Oracle RAC, DB2, and MS SQL Server Enterprise
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, firewalls and security standards.
  • Design, test and implement migration in an automated manner.
  • Create the test plan for post migration activities.
  • Ability to work with in a cross functional team as well as with various stakeholders.
  • Experience working in financial services industry preferred.
  • Strong experience working with senior IT and non-IT executives on a daily basis
  • Demonstrated experience in multi-shore management, teamwork and execution

Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership to the agile project team tasked with migrating MOVEit jobs to SFG.
  • Design and implement codified and repeatable migration patterns for different complexity Jobs from MOVEit to SFG.
  • Design and build the migration factory with codified scripts and common plugins for accelerating/automating migration of jobs.
  • Provide design inputs to improve client implementation of SFG
  • Partner with cross functional stakeholders within and outside the business unit to build integrated solutions that can scale.
