Our state-of-the-art rehab gym, buffet-style dining, and luxurious comforts and amenities provide an ideal environment for individuals recovering from surgery or illness to transition from hospital to home.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Transportation Driver to join our team. As a Transportation Driver at Sterling Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, you will be responsible for safe transportation of residents, families, and/or employees to and from specific locations for physician appointments and/or activities. If you have a strong commitment to excellent patient care, a clean driving record, and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
Safely transport residents, families, and/or employees to and from specific locations for physician appointments and/or activities
Ensure the well-being and safety of passengers during transportation
Maintain a clean and well-maintained company vehicle
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with passengers and staff
Render physical assistance to residents as needed
Interact with personnel, families, residents, and the general public in a professional manner
Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and incidents
Requirements
Excellent driving record and safety conscious
Good customer service skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Compassionate individual who can render physical assistance to residents as needed
Ability to interact with personnel, families, residents, and the general public in a professional manner
Driver experience preferred
