Assists the supervisor in planning and monitoring daily workflow. Provides direction for staff to accomplish efficient flow of work. Assists with orientation and training of new employees. Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) Certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) within 18 months of hire.
New Union Hires will have 18 months to achieve CRCST certification. Mayo Clinic will reimburse testing fees. Mayo Clinic will provide you with on the job training and after completing 400 hours of hands on experience you will be eligible to take the CRCST certification exam. Payrate will increase after becoming certified.
Individuals hired to this position may be required to complete up to 2 years in this position before becoming eligible to transfer to other positions within Mayo Clinic.
Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This position is not eligible for F-1 OPT STEM extension.
