Location: US:WI:MENOMONEE FALLS at our FROEDTERT MEN FALLS HOSPITAL facility.
This job is ON - SITE.
FTE: 1.000000
Standard Hours: 40.00
Shift: 2nd
Shift Details:
Monday - Friday, 1500-2330. Includes weekend and holiday rotations
Job Summary:
Under general supervision performs processing and set-up of surgical instrument trays, maintaining the correct sterilization parameters; builds surgical case carts using surgeon's preference lists; processes and distributes supplies and equipment required by Surgery, Nursing, Distribution for the treatment of patients. Maintains certification, and monitors, instructs and mentors non-certified staff. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
1 year of hospital experience in sterile processing is preferred.
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
LICENSURE:
Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from the IAHCSMM or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) from the CBSPD is required.
TRAINING:
Specialized training (min. 6 mos.-2 yrs.)
