Sterile Processing Tech (SPT)Location: Los Angeles, CA 90048Duration: 13 WeeksShift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 - 18:30)Job description:

8631 W. 3rd Street Los Angeles, CA 90048Hours: 8 hours between 0730-1830 - additional scheduling requests not an option as this is an outpatient clinic.

This position will be sterilizing instruments from in office OBGYN procedures only. NO SURGERIES ARE PERFORMEDRequired: HS/GEDFormal or on-the-job SPT training (shown on resume)Autoclave experienceOutpatient experiencePreferred:2+ years of experienceOBGYN procedure set upJob duties: Inspects and assembles instrument trays, using content lists and Manufactures Instruction for Use (IFU) documents as a guide and readiness for sterilization.

Disassembles and cleans instrumentation and equipment. Reassembles instrumentation and tests for proper functioning.

Submits incomplete instrument list if replacement instruments are needed, missing from tray, or damaged.

Maintains assigned work area in a clean and organized condition to maintain required standards for handling sterilized and clean materials
