Schedule:Full-Time

Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 5:30pm

The wage for this DentalAssistantposition is$24-$32/hourdepending on skills, experience, and location.

Your Role as a Dental Assistant:
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment
  • Assistdentists and hygienists during treatments,maintainingpatient comfort and workflow
  • Take dental X-rays and digital images asrequired
  • Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards
  • Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
  • Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks
  • Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care
  • Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
  • Establish strong patient relationships whilemaintainingethical professional behaviour
Your Role as a Sterilization Technician:
  • Clean, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments in compliance with IPAC standards and provincial regulations
  • Operate andmonitorsterilization equipment, completing required testing and documentation
  • Maintainaccuraterecords to support compliance and audit readiness
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized reprocessing area following health and safety protocols
  • Identifyand report equipment or sterilization issues promptly
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to support efficient patient flow
About You:
  • Registered and/orCertified as aDental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or associationisrequired
  • Previousdentalassistingexperience is preferred
  • Experience with IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control)
