Sterile Processing Technician Per Diem

Comprehensive Joint & Spine Institute is hiring a PRN Sterile Processing Technician

Comprehensive Outpatient Joint and Spine Institute (COJSI) is an advanced ambulatory surgery center established in 2021 offering patients the option to have their orthopedic, spine or pain management procedure performed outside the stressful hospital setting.

Sterile Processing Tech at Comprehensive Joint & Spine Institute

The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

 

Qualifications

  • ·       High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • ·       Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
  • ·       Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
  • ·       Experience with all types of sterilizers
  • ·       Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
  • ·       Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
  • ·       Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
