Join Our Team as an Site Director Liaison!

The All Star Kids Site Liaison Representative must possess a passion for and commitment to improving the lives and opportunities of all Site Directors, Assistant Site Directors and Child Care staff employed by the Bennington Public Schools Foundation All Star Kids Program. The All Star Kids program provides a safe and interactive way to learn life skills while training staff in the Standard of Excellence befitting a premier program. Our important mission is accomplished by giving staff, students and families the tools needed to make positive choices for a healthy program environment while reducing the many risks that children, staff and families face each day.


The Site Liaison Representative is responsible for co-directing and managing his or her respective All Star Kids program site locations and works closely with the All Star Kids Education Program Coordinator. The Site Liaison Representative must facilitate communication and collaboration between locations and teams. They should seek to establish mutually beneficial, encouraging relationships with all employees of the program, establish collaborative parameters and serve as a reliable contact point with whom Site Directors and staff can address concerns. The Site Liaison Representative must be in tune with the before and after school programs strategic objectives.

Hourly Pay: Starts at $21/hr (based on experience)

Hours: Monday–Friday 6:15 - 8:15 a.m. and 2:30 - 6:00 p.m. with the option to work up to 40 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities:


• Reviewing company norms, processes and goals to maintain your knowledge.
• Detect opportunities for meaningful collaboration within and across the programs operating site
locations.
• Relaying company interest and working to further them.
• Elucidating, discussing and implementing actions that expand our goals.
• Perceiving and working together to remedy concerns surrounding the program.
• Flexible, amicable and community-orientated approach.
• Adherence to designated procedural guidelines.
• Educating all staff on the proper operations of a licensed before and after school based child
care program.
• Establish meeting days and times with Site Directors in order to work with them 1:1 as well as in
an actively running program site.
• Establish safe indoor and outdoor meeting locations as well as oversite of all Safety Drills in
accordance with the State Licensing guidelines.
• Ensure that Site Directors complete all coaching applications of their staff and that all staff meet
all training requirements.
• Maintain open lines of communication with Education Program Coordinator as well as with all
Site Directors and site staff regarding any questions or concerns, registration issues, medication
issues to include proper paperwork and documentations, program promotion, staff motivation, site changes for staff when ratios need to be met due to absences, vacations or call-outs,
feedback and feed forward strategies, identifying gaps in coaching techniques, preparing
additional training strategies with staff operating on the 30, 60, 90 day evaluation check in, etc.
• Possess strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Promote the program and manage/participate in the employee recruitment process.
• Ensure the staff and the site meets all licensing requirements and training compliance
standards.
• Ensuring follow through with Site Directors and staff, assistance with lesson planning,
newsletters, implementation of STEM/craft activities, scheduling outreach programs, proper
menu planning, staff scheduling etc.
• Supports and demonstrates coaching in implementation of the Site Director Standard of
Excellence Document.
• Serve as a Sub Site Director as needed in order to maintain proper site management at locations
• Champion the All Star Kids Program and have fun!

Qualifications:
  • Must be 19 years or older.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in organized group activities for school-aged children.
  • Ability to supervise children and staff in various settings such as gyms, outdoor areas, and during field trips.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from Bennington, NE
  • Must complete Nebraska Child Abuse & Neglect Registry, Nebraska Adult Abuse Central Registry, and a background check.
