Job description

The North America Quality organization is currently seeking an experienced Quality Warranty Specialist for our Warranty Intelligence Room (WIR) team. This position is responsible to identify and scope emerging warranty spend opportunities, as well as track deliverables and work with cross-functional teams to drive cost saving project implementations. The candidate selected will report to a Team Lead and should have working level knowledge of data and analytics tools that are commonly used within the Stellantis Quality organization.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Identify, scope, define, and analyze emerging warranty spend opportunities
  • Work with a cohesive team of Project Managers and Engineers to implement proactive solutions to warranty spend topics
  • Work with cross-functional team to drive implementations on open WIR projects
  • Track and measure individual project implementations
  • Validate project savings on monthly basis with Warranty Finance representative
  • Support ongoing Total Warranty Spend (TWS) War Room activities
  • Help to coordinate TWS workshop activities
  • Lead the High Warranty Part Pricing (HWPP) process within the team
  • Lead the Labor Time Study evaluation process within the team
  • Ad-hoc reporting and data analysis

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering from an accredited university
  • 5+ years of experience in the Automotive industry
  • Working experience with Stellantis Quality suite warranty analytics and tools (WIS, SLICE, Warranty Spend, Quantic, PowerBi, GIMs, MAP, etc.)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs
  • Experience in data analytics
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • Organized and goal oriented
  • Desire for continuous learning and improvement

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Green Belt / Kepner Tregoe
  • Design for Six Sigma
  • Certified in PMP, PMI-ACP, CAPM, CSM, or equivalent project management methodologies
