Kitting AssociateOverview Summary
Summit Staffing is seeking a Kitting Associate to support warehouse operations by assembling, packing, and preparing products for shipment. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring orders are accurate, organized, and ready to ship in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Job Details
Location: Coppell, Texas
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay Range: $18.00/hour
Shift Options:
  • 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM (Monday–Friday)
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble boxes and packaging materials for outgoing shipments
  • Pick and organize items based on order sheets or work instructions
  • Pack products accurately and securely to prevent damage
  • Label and prepare shipments for distribution
  • Perform basic quality checks to ensure order accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
Skills & Experience
  • No prior experience required — training provided
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete repetitive tasks with consistency
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse, packing, or production experience
  • Experience working with order picking or shipping processes
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced warehouse setting with repetitive tasks
  • Standing and moving for the majority of the shift
