POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the coordination of day-to-day activities of the site subcontractors with SSC plant operations. Responsible for scheduling site deliveries from the plant and vendors, coordinating with general contractor and erection subcontractors. Must attend job site meetings and relay pertinent information to SSC Project Manager. Responsible for investigating any errors reported by the erection sub-contractors and coordinate resolution with SSC engineering and project manager. Must maintain daily logs of job site activities. Responsible for reviewing daily reports, drawing changes and ensuring erection subcontractors are up to date on field use drawings.
Essential Functions Statement(s)
  • Coordinate deliveries from plant and vendors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials, etc...
  • Attend and participate in job site meetings to provide necessary input, communications, and information pertinent to SSC Project Manager.
  • Responsible for producing daily reports.
  • Review project status and coordinate with general contractor and erection subcontractors.
  • Ensure all subcontractors are up to date on field use drawings.
  • Responsible for making decisions on daily delivery schedules to ensure communication with site subcontractors, project manager, erection subcontractors.
  • Maintain efficiency of operations through effective communication and coordination with plant vendors and suppliers.
  • Responsible for daily interaction with erection subcontractors, general contractor, customers SSC PM and plant resources.
  • Responsible for use of company or rented vehicle, laptop, cell phone.

Requirements
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Associate degree (two year college or technical school) Preferred, Field of Study: Trade School or related construction trades experience.
Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) Preferred, Field of Study: Construction Management
Experience: 5 plus years of experience in Structural Steel Fabrication and/or Erection.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills in Word, Excel, Blue Beam, etc...
Certifications & Licenses: OSHA 10 Hour Course
