Job description

Job Description We're hiring a Machine Operator for our Brookshire, TX area client. We are looking for dependable, experienced welders who are ready to interview immediately. DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB: Job Title: Machine Operator Location: Brookshire, TX 77423 Pay: $20-22 hr DOE Hours: Mon-Fri 6:00am - 5:30pm Some Saturdays Duration: Temp-to-Hire Description of Duties: Load and position steel materials onto processing tables using an overhead crane.

Measure and cut steel materials to predetermined lengths according to specifications. Operate heavy machinery including Drill Line, Angle Master, Big Saw, Plasma Cutter, Plate Cutter, and other steel processing equipment. Identify material sizes, piece marks, and heat numbers.

Off-load finished materials and accurately document piece marks. Maintain proper material control throughout the production process. Prepare and maintain written documentation, including cut lists.

Utilize the Steel Tracking System (STS) to track and manage materials. Transfer heat numbers to cut materials as required. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

1-2 years of machine operating, steel processing, manufacturing, or related experience preferred. Experience operating an overhead crane. Ability to accurately read a tape measure, including material widths and thicknesses.

Ability to read and interpret prints, blueprints, and dimensional drawings. Basic computer skills and ability to navigate Windows-based systems. Ability to operate and control steel processing machinery, including starting, manual movement, and powering down equipment.
