Precision Stainless Steel & Aluminum Welding

Location: Salt Lake City
Pay: $29.00 - $34.00 per hour (DOE) + $1.00 Shift differential = $30-$35 hr.
Schedule: Second Shift (3:00 pm - 12:30 am) with every other Friday off (9/80 schedule available)

Our welders work on custom stainless steel and aluminum fabrications, including vacuum chambers, tanks, pipe assemblies, and structural components that support advanced testing systems.

What You'll Be Responsible For


Perform TIG welding (GTAW) on stainless steel and aluminum components
Fit and weld chambers/tanks and pressure vessels
Fabricate components using engineering drawings and blueprints
Weld pipe assemblies ranging from 1/8" to 36"
Fabricate tanks and assemblies ranging from 4" to 8' in diameter
Perform layout, fitting, and fabrication of welded assemblies
Inspect welds and completed assemblies to ensure quality and structural integrity
Maintain safe work practices and organized work areas

Requirements

What Sets You Apart


5-7+ years TIG welding experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
Strong experience welding stainless steel and aluminum
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and weld prints
Experience fitting and welding large fabrications, tanks, or structural assemblies
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing clean, high-quality welds
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a fabrication team


Bonus Experience (Nice to Have):


Experience welding vacuum chambers or pressure vessels
Experience with pipe welding
Experience with fabrication equipment such as rollers, ironworker, mills, or lathes
Background in aerospace or advanced manufacturing fabrication
