THE POSITION
We are seeking an experienced Windows Systems Administrator to provide systems administration support for contract-owned and operated systems within a classified enterprise environment. This role supports Tier 2 and Tier 3 troubleshooting, operating system lifecycle maintenance, and change management activities.

The ideal candidate is a strong Windows administrator with experience supporting secure, enterprise-level environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide Tier 3 support for in-house developed systems and site-unique enhancements.
  • Support maintenance of current and future versions of supported IT systems.
  • Maintain server operating systems at required versions.
  • Maintain COTS, GOTS, and Open-Source software at required versions.
  • Perform installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of supported systems.
  • Support incident, change, and configuration management processes in accordance with lifecycle support requirements.
  • Administer Active Directory user and group management functions.
  • Support VMware virtual machine administration and Virtual Desktop environments.
  • Provide support for DNS, DHCP, backup and restore operations, SAN storage fundamentals, and desktop imaging tools.
  • Assist with PowerShell scripting and automation efforts as needed.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 

  • Position located on-site
  • DAY shift position
Requirements:
  • Minimum active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility; AND,
  • DoD 8140/8570 Information Assurance Technical Level II (IAT-II) certification; AND,
  • 10 years of relevant IT systems engineering or systems administration experience supporting enterprise Windows environments.

PREFERRED:

  • Experience supporting systems within classified DoD enterprise environments.
  • Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
  • PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
