The Wound Care Registered Nurse RN or LPN/LVN works in harmony with the nursing staff assessing, treating, and creating care plans for patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and/or continence conditions. Posted Salary Range
USD $32.50 - USD $37.00 /Hr.
Wage Commensuration
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide consultation and direct assistance in the management of patients with altered skin integrity (pressure necrosis, wounds, fistulas, etc).
  • Offer in-service programs as needed to assist nursing, rehabilitation and medical staff to maintain knowledge and competence in wound care.
  • Collect, analyze and document information and statistics related to wounds in the facility, as well as perform clinical evaluations for potential wound admissions.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Must be a licensed RN or LPN/LVN in good standing with the state (as required)
  • 1-2 years wound care experience required
  • Wound Care Certification (WOCN) preferred
  • 1+ years of long term care experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation required
