This is a contingent position only. Schedule will be provided and in addition to on call. The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for the daily tasks of the physician's office and clinical areas involved with direct patient care. Duties include clerical,, answering phones and medical assistant responsibilities. Other tasks involve EKGs, venipuncture, PFTs, injections, UA dipsticks, STAT strep, and other testing within the office.
Position will mostly include working front desk. Check in, check out, cash collections, insurance verification and referrals as well as working phones. Preferably experience with FMLA paperwork.
Qualifications
Bilingual Arabic & Spanish Preferred . Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) Previous medical assistant experience highly recommended but not necessary. Knowledge of Microsoft office word and excel. Knowledge of EMR - Eclinical works or Epic
