Process Engineer – Marietta, PA

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead medium to large-scale projects focused on:
    • Cost reduction
    • New product development
    • Process improvement
  • Act as an “owner of the business” by identifying opportunities and driving critical manufacturing improvements
  • Provide hands-on technical support on the production floor to troubleshoot issues and improve performance
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve plant performance objectives
  • Conduct and support Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) to resolve process and material-related issues
  • Apply process improvement tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • Monitor and audit key process control systems and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coach and train production operators on:
    • Process control techniques
    • Equipment capabilities
    • Best practices
  • Support plant safety initiatives through participation in safety audits and risk assessments
  • Develop and revise raw material specifications to meet customer and operational requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution 
  • Experience in process engineering or a technical role within a manufacturing environment 
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead and execute projects across all phases
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools such as Minitab (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies
  • Ability to work off-shift hours as needed to support plant initiatives
