Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality statistical programming analysis and reporting deliverables for global stakeholders, within our Research and Development division.
  • Gather and interpret user requirements for analysis and programming requests in close collaboration with stakeholders (statisticians/modelers) and clinical colleagues, retrieve the required data, transform the data into analysis/modeling datasets, and develop tables and figures according to statistical/modeling analysis plan.
  • Partner with stakeholders to solve problems and reduce the amount of programming tasks being completed by stakeholders to facilitate an increase in efficiency and compliance for statistical/modeling analyses.
  • Write programs to analyze data with statistical methods which are not currently available through commercial software packages. Act as key collaborator with statisticians, modelers, and colleagues in other related function areas.

Educational Requirement:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Life Sciences, Engineering or related field plus 7 years of SAS/R programming experience in a clinical trial environment.
  • OR a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Life Sciences, Engineering or related field plus 9 years of SAS/R programming experience in a clinical trial environment.

Position Specific Required Skills and Experience:

Requires 7 years of experience with all of the following:

  • Experience in SAS and clinical trial programming including data steps, procedures, SAS/MACRO, and SAS/GRAPH;
  • Experience in CDISC SDTM and ADaM standards;
  • Experience in preparing eSubmission packages including ADRG, XPT files, and Pinnacle 21 validation; and completing statistical programming deliverables through the use of global programming staff.

Requires 5 years of experience with all of the following:

  • Manipulating very large databases including complex data preprocessing, filtering, and manipulation;
  • Oncology franchise studies; applying oncology concepts; experience programming with oncology therapeutic area clinical endpoint data (efficacy and safety) and pharmacokinetic data (raw concentration data and derived PK parameters);
  • Experence leading study programming deliverables for multiple studies.

Requires 1 year of experience with at least one software other than SAS (e.g., R).

The salary range for this role is

$145,475.00 - $224,100.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
