DEPARTMENT: Finance
REPORTS TO: Director of FinanceFLSA STATUS: Hourly
Summary
We are looking for a Finance Intern to be a part of Legends Global's Finance Department. The Finance Intern will be responsible for practicing their accounting knowledge and financial skills in a professional setting. Their duties include supporting the wider finance and accounting teams with various accounting projects and finance tasks as they gain more confidence within their desired industry. This individual will be heavily involved in projects, under the guidance and supervision of a manager within the finance/accounting team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Role may require limited business-related travel to our venues or other corporate offices within the US during the intern period for venue related project work and provide the intern with exposure to our business model within Legends Global
  • Exposed to work in financial analytics, project management, reporting and tracking, basic accounting process and activities plus policies and procedures
  • Other accounting tasks may be assigned.

Education and Experience
  • Must be currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or closely related field (I.e., Hospitality, sports, and entertainment) at an accredited institution
  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Experience using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
