We are looking for a Statistical Methodologist who is innovative, collaborative, and analytically rigorous to join us in our Biometrics and Data Science team, based in our Atlanta, GA headquarters.

About the role

As a Statistical Methodologist, you will provide expert statistical consultation across the drug development lifecycle, from early clinical development through late-stage and lifecycle activities. You will help design, analyze, and optimize innovative clinical studies, contribute to the development of advanced statistical methodologies, and translate complex quantitative evidence into clear, decision-relevant insights that impact clinical, regulatory, and commercial strategies.

Who you'll work with

You will be part of the Statistical Innovation group within Biometrics and Data Science, collaborating closely with crossfunctional partners including clinical, regulatory, data science, and medical colleagues. The team operates globally and engages both internally and externally through scientific collaborations, industry working groups, and conference participation.

What you'll do

  • Provide statistical methodology support across clinical trials and development stages.
  • Design and assess innovative clinical trial methods and analytical approaches.
  • Apply frequentist and Bayesian methods to complex drug development questions.
  • Conduct simulations to inform study design, sample size, and power decisions.
  • Communicate complex statistical concepts using clear visuals and narratives.
  • Contribute to publications, presentations, and crossindustry scientific initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • PhD in statistics, mathematics, or related quantitative discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of global regulatory frameworks, including FDA and EMA guidance.
  • Ability to communicate complex statistics to technical and nontechnical audiences.

  • Experience working in a global, crossfunctional pharmaceutical environment.
