Stationary Engineer
Location: QIAGEN SCIENCES HQ, GERMANTOWN - 44228043
Workdays/shifts: Overnights - varying days. More details will be provided during the interview process.

What You'll Do: As a Stationary Engineer at Sodexo, you are a problem solver and safety promoter. Your knowledge and technical skills are critical to meet maintenance needs. You will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, renovation and repair of boiler systems and all other mechanical systems in a facility.
Responsibilities include:
  • Operate and maintain stationary engines and equipment such as steam engines, boilers, air compressors, generators, turbines, and refrigeration equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance of equipment, as required, using hand and power tools.
  • Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

  • Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
  • 1 or more years of related work experience.
