Station Worker Jobs in Riverside, CA (NOW HIRING)

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Gas Station Attendant & Wetzel’s Pretzels Team Member to join our team. This hybrid position requires employees to work at both the gas station and the Wetzel’s Pretzels location during their scheduled shifts. Team members will be cross-trained to ensure smooth operations, excellent customer service, and a safe, clean environment at both locations.

This role is ideal for individuals who are flexible, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and take pride in delivering outstanding service.

• Greet customers promptly and provide friendly, professional service
• Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately
• Operate fuel pumps and assist customers as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of the station, pumps, restrooms, and surrounding areas
• Stock shelves, coolers, and merchandise
• Monitor fuel and store inventory levels
• Follow all safety procedures related to fuel handling and equipment
• Report equipment issues, spills, or safety concerns immediately
• Comply with company policies, cash-handling procedures, and loss-prevention guidelines

• Prepare and serve Wetzel’s Pretzels products according to brand standards
• Operate food service equipment safely and efficiently
• Take customer orders and handle payments accurately
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards at all times
• Stock ingredients and supplies as needed
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate service during peak hours
• Follow all health department regulations and company food safety procedures

• Rotate between the gas station and Wetzel’s Pretzels based on business needs
• Remain flexible with assigned duties and work locations during shifts
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and scheduling requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Previous customer service, retail, or food service experience preferred (but not required)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light to moderate physical tasks
• Willingness to be cross-trained and work both roles
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

This position complies with all applicable California labor laws, including meal and rest period requirements. Employees will be provided:

• Paid rest periods in accordance with California law
• Unpaid meal periods for shifts exceeding five (5) hours
• Overtime compensation as required by law
• A safe and compliant work environment following Cal/OSHA standards

Work schedules may vary based on business needs, and employees must be able to work assigned shifts at both the gas station and Wetzel’s Pretzels locations.

• Prior convenience store, gas station experience or fast food preferred, but not required
• Willingness to perform cleaning and basic maintenance duties (restrooms, pumps, trash, forecourt)
• Ability to follow company policies and safety procedures
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change
