Position Overview:

Reporting to theDirector,Financial Reporting, you will work cross functionally with Finance Department team membersto assist inthe preparation ofcertainaccountingentries, including lease accounting,andthequarterly and annual externalFinancial Statements, Management's Discussion and Analysis("MD&A")and securities filingsin Canada and the United States.

What You'll Do:

  • Assistin the preparation ofthequarterly and annual external Financial Statements, MD&A and securities filings in Canada and the United States.Tasks include:
  • Uploading internal Financial Statements and supporting schedules into the WorkivaWdeskfinancial reporting platform
  • Prepare note disclosures and certain supporting schedules
  • Support the preparation of the MD&A
  • Review XBRL tagging of Annual Financial Statements in WorkivaWdeskplatform
  • Assistinquarterly reviews andannual year-end auditof financial statements
  • Responsible forlease accountingand analysis,providing supportforCanada Goose's global lease portfolio
  • Assistin the preparation of monthly Financial Statementsand certain accounting entries and account reconciliations, including the following areas:
  • Lease accounting
  • Fixed Assets
  • Long-term debt
  • Derivatives and hedge accounting
  • Execute internal controls with respect to financial policies,processes,and procedures
  • Prepare financialand technicalanalysisforIFRS accounting policy position papers, as requested
  • Contribute to team effort by completingfinancial reportingtasks asneeded

Let's Talk About You:

  • University degree in Business/Accounting
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designationis in progress,completed is an asset
  • 4+ years ofaccountingexperience
  • Experience infinancialanalysisor data analytics
  • Experience in the Consumer Products industry, retail or manufacturing a definite asset
  • Experience working in publicly traded companieslisted in Canada and the United States, or experience working in private companies with regimented reporting requirements
  • Working within an internal control reporting frameworkpreferred, preferably COSO
  • Extensive knowledge of IFRS, including IFRS 16 is preferred

Salary Range:

$73,000.00 - $102,000.00 / year
