They respond to 911 calls, assess patients, administer life-saving treatments, and transport patients to medical facilities. State Paramedics are skilled in advanced cardiac life support, trauma care, and medical emergencies. They often work with fire departments, ambulance services, and other emergency response teams. Their certification and scope of practice are regulated by state laws and guidelines.
