WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Librarian position supports the College's mission and goals by developing, coordinating, providing, and reporting appropriate library services and resources to ensure students, faculty, and staff are able to effectively fulfill their educational, research and information needs. Job Duties include:

• Develop, coordinate, and deliver online and in-person library instruction aligned with ACRL Information Literacy Framework.
• Provide reference and research assistance to students, faculty, and staff, both in person and virtually.
• Contribute to innovative and effective library services and programs.
• Maintain research guides, tutorials, and instructional materials to support learning and access to library resources.
• Participate in collection development, including evaluating, acquiring, and assessing print and electronic resources to match instructional needs.
• Stay current with technological, pedagogical, and professional trends and incorporate new tools and strategies into library services.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
At a minimum, the selected candidate must have a master's degree in library science or similar degree from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited institution.
The preferred candidate will have experience in academic libraries in higher education and experience in developing and providing library instruction programs.
