The James Baker State Farm Agency is seeking a Telemarketing Sales Representative to support agency growth by generating qualified leads and scheduling appointments for our sales team.

As aTelemarketer - State Farm Agent Team Member for James Baker - State Farm Agent, your creativity and strategy promote the continued growth of our agency. Your diversified marketing shapes our brand's public image and cultivates existing customer relations. Your cross-functional campaigns will expand the value generated by producers, innovate our customers' experience, and strategically position our agency... whether on social media or at community events!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Make outbound calls to prospective customers using provided lead lists to promote State Farm insurance products and services.
  • Stay informed about the various insurance products and services offered by State Farm.
  • Identify customer interest and needs and follow up on leads generated from marketing campaigns or referrals to schedule appointments.
  • Provide initial information to potential customers and answer basic questions about insurance options.
  • Maintain and update a database of prospects and customer interactions.
  • Ensure all communications adhere to State Farm guidelines and compliance standards.
  • Prepare regular reports on call activity, lead generation, and appointment scheduling.Meet or exceed daily call, contact, and appointment goalsMaintain a positive, professional attitude on all calls

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous telemarketing, call center, or phone sales experience preferred
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills
  • Confident, persuasive, and customer-friendly phone presence
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Comfortable handling objections and maintaining persistence
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn CRM or agency systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • P&C Insurance license: (or willing to obtain)
  • Focus on achieving targets and contributing to the agency's growth.
