Maryland State Inspector/MSI 
Fantastic opportunity for a Maryland State Inspector to join our growing team at Norris Ford in Dundalk, MD. Use your vehicle maintenance expertise and excellent customer service skills to excel in this position. You will perform Maryland state inspections on cars and light duty trucks.
Compensation & Schedule
  • $35/hr+ flat rate (based on experience)
  • Monday - Friday with a rotating Saturday schedule

Essential Functions
  • Provide Maryland state certified inspections, accurately & efficiently
  • Repair issues with vehicles in order to pass inspections, communicate with Service Manager
  • Ability to work independently and document into CDK
  • Drive vehicle to verify information from the inspection
  • Maintain safe and clean work area
  • All other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience
  1. High School Diploma or GED required
  2. At least 3 years recent (within the last 6 months) of inspection experience  
  3. Valid driver's license
  4. Certified Maryland State Inspector
  5. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently
  6. Excellent customer service skills

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to climb, lift, reach above head, and squat frequently. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
