Registered Nurse (RN) Position

Warm Springs, MT - Main Campus RN 7p-7a - Flexible to facility scheduling - Experience in a Geriatric Psych Nursing specialty - Highly skilled in De-Escalation

Resume Must-Haves:

  • Travel Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 1-2 years of travel experience. As well as meeting one of the following:
    • Mental Health Experience: At least 2 years of direct experience working in mental health settings, such as state hospitals or facilities specifically dedicated to mental health care.
    • Geriatric Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in this field if the candidate's background is solely in geriatric care within nursing homes or long-term care facilities, or hospice.
    • Emergency or Urgent Care Experience: At least 4 years of relevant experience on their resumes for those candidates coming from a medical urgent care or emergency room background.

Registered Nurses (RNs) provide assistance and support to clients in maintaining a therapeutic environment. This position performs nursing assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluation for adult clients in the facility. Responsibilities include assigning work and providing direction and training to subordinate nursing personnel. Additionally, shift differential may be available, and one meal is provided per shift.

Qualifications for this Career Opportunity:

  • Knowledge of nursing, medications, and treatment planning.
  • Knowledge of patient's rights regarding medical treatment.
  • Knowledge of current psychopharmacology.
  • Skill in the use of the basic instruments and equipment of the nursing profession.
  • Ability to plan and implement appropriate nursing care interventions.
  • Ability to perform accurate and thorough work.
  • Ability to provide patient assessment and appropriate documentation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to analyze, assemble, and organize information.
  • Ability to proficiently utilize technology related to patient care information systems.
  • Meet minimum qualifications: Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university degree in nursing. Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Montana. Preferred experience working with psychiatric inpatient treatment programs.
