Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg / Emergency Department (Nights) | Contract
NIKTOR LLC is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment on the night shift.
Job SummarySeeking a skilled RN with strong Med/Surg and Emergency Department experience, including Spine/Orthopedic Post-Operative patient care. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a Critical Access Hospital environment and managing a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg and ED patients.
- Manage a patient ratio of approximately 1:5.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR.
- Participate in holiday coverage as required.
- Current, unrestricted Colorado RN License
- Minimum 4 years of RN experience
- Required experience in:
- Med/Surg Nursing
- Emergency Department Nursing
- Spine/Ortho Post-Operative Patient Care
- ACLS
- BLS/BCLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- COVID-19 vaccination required per state mandate.
- No holiday requests off; clinicians must be available to work holidays.
- Traveler's permanent residence must be at least 65 miles from the facility.
- Local travelers will not be considered.
