Job Title: Quality Inspector โ€“ Automotive Manufacturing

Shift: 1st โ€“ Hours 5:00am โ€“ 5:00pm

2nd โ€“ Hours 6:00pm โ€“ 6:00am

Location: Alexander City, AL

Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, weekends when needed

PAY RATE: $18.00/hr

Job Summary

Quality Inspectors are responsible for a wide range of handsโ€‘on duties including sorting, inspection and data capture. They work directly with customers to resolve and prevent quality issues, reinforcing PPG QUALITYโ€™S commitment to superior solutions. Work environments vary from yard sorts, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, etc. โ€“ whatever the customer needs. Inspectors must be flexible with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail. The success of our organization depends on the dedication of our team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform sorting, inspection, and basic production tasks
  • Accurately enter data and maintain records
  • Follow all written instructions, policies, and operational rules
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Operate inspection tools, measurement devices, and test equipment โ€“ training available
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned
