Job description

Suites Supervisor - State Farm Arena/Levy Restaurants
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour. This is not a tipped position.
Schedule: Part time event-based schedule. Must be able to work nights and weekends. Must be able to work all Hawks home games.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years or more experience in foodservice or hospitality, specifically with VIP or premium experience. An outgoing personality is preferred. The candidate should have the ability to interact with high profile guests and remain professional and dedicated to providing an exceptional experience. The ability to comunicate effectively with the ability to problem solve and make decisions with little guidance.
Qualifications
  • Meets with the Manager before the event to go over details
  • Supervies staff during set up and breakdowns.
  • Ensure all food and beverage is properly displayed and maintained throughout the event.
  • Knowledgeable on all menu offerings.
  • Supervises the runners and servers before, during, and after the event.
  • Establishes rapport with guests and understands suggestive and upselling techniques.
  • Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods of time throughout the day.
  • Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds

Job Summary
Summary: The Suite Supervisor is responsible for managing the successful operations of suites during the event. The supervisor helps facilitate executing area setup and breakdown. The supervisor oversees the breakdown of the event once it is concluded. Once an event is near, the supervisor checks the provisions and stocking orders to ensure that all is ready for guests. The supervisor manages the runners and the servers, to again, ensure effective processes are in place. The supervisor handles guest issues and then reports them up to managers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensures all suites in designated area are properly set before guests arrive.
  • Works closely with suite attendants and culinary staff to ensure proper presentation and set food quantities are met.
  • Develops a positive rapport with guests.
  • Detemine where guests would like to eat their meals and help them get situated.
  • Throughly completes all event set-up and breakdown responsibilites within timelines provided.
  • Performs post event product inventory and restocks, as needed.
  • Create, modify, and close sales checks in point of sale.
  • Understand all event paperwork and reports.
  • Interacts with ownership groups to ensure that their needs are met routinely.
  • Follows responsible alcohol service policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one to three years of leadership experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Ability to walk and stand for up to 12 hours.
