Job Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze requests for Informal Conferences, verifying that the requests are in compliance with the Rules and Regulations.
  • Schedule informal conferences to create and manage dockets.
  • Process settlements and update award information within the case management system.
  • Generate Commission fines and apply payments within case management system.
  • Answer incoming calls. Research and respond to inquiries from the public, staff, claimants, attorneys, and provide claim file status.
  • Process Letter of representation
  • Process requests for copies and payments for copy service
  • Alternate to the Mail room clerk and receptionist
Minimum and Additional Requirements
  • High School Graduate/ GED and related experience OR equivalent workers' compensation experience in lieu of or in conjunction with education requirements.
  • Ability to learn and apply rules and regulations.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally to internal staff and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail in a high-volume working environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or related workers' compensation experience.
Additional Comments
  • Position may require overnight travel.
  • Position may require employees to work overtime.
