Job description

Builds custom cabinets, counters, and showcases by studying blueprints and specifications; setting-up and operating equipment; verifying dimensions; assembling and finishing components.

Duties:

  • Set up and operate a variety of woodworking machines and use various hand tools to fabricate and repair cabinets and showcases. Must be able to read and follow prints of items to be built.
  • Set up and operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointer, mortiser, tenoner, molder, and shaper.
  • Trim component parts of joints to ensure snug fit.
  • Control costs by conserving use of equipment and supplies.
  • Prepare articles for finishing.
  • Laminate or edge band items as necessary and put on any required hardware
  • Installers are required to travel in state and out of state
  • Employees must have their own tools.


Skills/Qualifications:
Prior woodworking experience required.
