Responsibilities for an Laboratory Technician include but are not limited to:
Perform analytical testing using spectroscopy, microscopy, and chromatography techniques
Operate laboratory instruments and equipment while following established methods and safety procedures
Accurately record, process, and report data using notebooks, Excel, and LIMS systems
Conduct quality checks, troubleshoot issues, and complete testing in a timely manner
Assist with lab organization, equipment maintenance, and occasional lab moves
Candidates for Laboratory Technician must meet the following requirements to be considered:
Associateโs or Bachelorโs degree in a scientific field required
Experience in materials characterization and laboratory testing (UV-vis, IR spectroscopy, microscopy, chromatography)
Strong understanding of basic chemical principles and polymer material properties
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and LIMS systems
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely with laboratory equipment and gas cylinders
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team

Pay: Up to $30.00/hour (based on experience)
Shift: Monday โ Friday, 8:00 AM โ 4:30 PM (flexible schedule possible)

Pay Details: $30.00 per hour
