About Us

Little Champs Therapy & Yoga is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality pediatric therapy services for children with special needs. Our mission is to support each child’s growth and development through individualized, evidence-based care combined with complementary therapies such as yoga and music.

We provide therapy services in homes, schools, daycares, clinics, and community settings to ensure children receive care in environments where they feel most comfortable and supported. At Little Champs, we believe in empowering children and families through a collaborative and family-centered approach.


Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support children in developing communication, language, social interaction, and functional skills.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about working with children, committed to providing high-quality care, and eager to make a meaningful impact in the lives of families within our community.


Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing individualized therapy plans for pediatric clients
  • Support children in developing speech, language, communication, articulation, and social interaction skills
  • Conduct therapy activities and track client progress under the supervision of the supervising SLP
  • Maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive therapy environment during sessions
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to reinforce therapeutic strategies at home and school
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment sessions, patient progress, and therapy goals
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate on treatment planning and patient care strategies
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in pediatric speech-language pathology and early intervention


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field required
  • Active SLPA licensure/certification in accordance with state requirements
  • Experience working with children, particularly in a pediatric or therapeutic setting, strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of speech therapy techniques, language development, and early intervention strategies
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based therapy services is a plus
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Passion for helping children achieve developmental and communication goals
