Astronics AES is seeking a Facilities Technician to join our team in Redmond, WA. This is an onsite position, working Monday - Friday in the facility. JOB SUMMARY The Facilities Technician will assist in the maintenance and upkeep of facilities. Perform maintenance including snow/ice removal, trash removal and other duties as assigned. Provide facility related assistance to Facility Manager/Supervisor, Senior Management, Information Technology department, and Operations/Engineering departments.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Perform general repair and maintenance work including light painting, basic plumbing, general cleaning, and preventative maintenance in facilities. Respond to Help Desk requests from employees and assist front lobby as needed. Schedule and coordinate the work of outside vendors/contractors.

Monitor performance of vendors and janitorial work daily. Perform escort duty of visitors as needed. Drive utility vehicle Bobcat, light duty box truck, and electric work assist vehicles.

Ensure that facility buildings and grounds are clean, safe, and presentable to employees and visitors. Perform HVAC adjustments as needed via electronic management system software. Removal of ice and snow from building sidewalks and parking lot as needed.

Operate site equipment including hand and power tools to complete tasks. Independent and ability to work in a team environment. Capable of working with ambiguity.

Perform tasks in energized electronics production facility, environmental stress screening areas, and other production areas with noise. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required. Clean driving record required.

1-2 years experience in facilities maintenance. Ability to use standard powered and non-powered tools. Must understand the operation and maintenance of plant facilities and equipment.

Ability to learn to attain basic Microsoft Office software skills. (Outlook, Word, Excel) Physical Abilities: Able to use hand and power tools such as drills, saws, cutters, pressure washer, pliers, paint rollers/brushes, air compressor, and screw drivers. Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

Able to work standing up and/or walking for extended periods of time. Able to work with a computer and view a computer monitor for extended periods of time. Able to kneel or sit for extended periods of time.

Work Environment: Includes office, warehouse/manufacturing, and outdoor environment. May require frequent contact with others via phone, email, and/or face-to face-discussions. May be exposed to loud/machine noises.

May be in an environment where there is a risk of electric shock. All employees are required to have training on that risk and exercise care around electricity. EMPLOYMENT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS As a US Department of Defense Contractor, this position may involve access to items subject to U.S

export-control laws. Employment is contingent upon the employees authorization to access such items under applicable law. The company does not guarantee and is under no obligation to seek such authorization if it would be necessary.

An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a background screening and drug test which includes screening for the use of cannabis. Base salary range for this position is $21.93 - $29.67 per hour. Mid-point is $25.80
