Job description

Stark Carpet is looking for an experienced Cut Table Operator for 2nd shift. Monday-Friday 3:00PM-11:30PM.
Hiring/Retention Bonus up to $1,000 within the first year!

JOB SUMMARY
Cut stock and custom carpet fabrications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cut fabrications as instructed.
Inspect product at custom and stock production tables.
Cut damaged pieces out of carpet rolls.
Inspect returned carpet. Return any undamaged product to inventory.
Provide back up support to various production tables as needed.
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must possess superior time management, organizational and priority setting skills. Have ability to remain composed when faced with competing priorities. Have ability to manage multiple assignments or tasks through to completion.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing. Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. This position may often require bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching. Incumbent will regularly be around moving machinery as well as marked changes in temperature and humidity.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires work in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.
