Job description

Delta Technologies is an industry leading tooling company who is searching for a Bench Hand who can deburr. Our customers are automotive manufacturers and suppliers in one of the fastest growing automotive regions.
Essential Duties amp; Responsibilities
  • Polish cavities to high finishes.
  • Draw polishing ribs.
  • Basic disassemble and assemble of molds.
  • Contour ejector pins.
  • Spot hand loaded loose pieces and parting line.
  • Spot cores, cavities, slides and lifters.
  • Bench and polish to A-2 finish.
  • Provide an efficient lineup for the next shift.
  • Maintain and repair molds.
  • Maintain adherence to company policies, safety/ergonomic standards, and good housekeeping practices.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge to use benching power tools (grinders, profilers, etc.).
  • Knowledge to identify part from shut off as well as master shut off areas.
  • Knowledge of the different steels of trade and the polishing traits.
  • Knowledge of the different stones, papers, polishing compounds and their use.
  • Knowledge of the SP finishes of the trade.
  • Ability to use measuring equipment to verify dimensions (micrometers, telescoping gauges, calipers, dial indicators, etc.).
  • Good comprehension of mold design required.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills, intermediate computer skills, ability to multitask, and good written and verbal communication skills.
