Stakeholder managers are professionals responsible for identifying, engaging, and maintaining positive relationships with individuals or groups who have an interest in or are affected by a project, organization, or business initiative. Their main role is to ensure that stakeholders’ needs, expectations, and concerns are understood and addressed throughout the project lifecycle. This often involves regular communication, conflict resolution, and collaboration to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. How does a stakeholder manager typically balance the differing priorities of multiple stakeholders in a project?

A Stakeholder Manager is often tasked with navigating the diverse interests and expectations of various internal and external parties. Build Your Legacy: Impact Landmark Projects and Communities

Carta Advisors, LLC, an affiliate of the Clark Group ($6B+ annual revenue, 120-year legacy), is seeking a high-energy, reliable, and detail-oriented professional to join our growing Stakeholder Alignment Group. This is more than a consulting role, it's a ground-floor opportunity to join an innovative firm working on some of the most critical and complex development projects in the country.

The construction industry faces growing complexity, unpredictable political and community dynamics, a limited qualified workforce, and rising expectations from an increasing number of project stakeholders. Teams struggle with traditional delivery models, as less than 1% of mega-projects finish on-time and on-budget. At Carta, we know project success hinges on effective Stakeholder Alignment. We deploy proprietary programs, strategies, and tools to build high-performing teams, help resolve tough issues, mitigate project risk, and build trust.

Our mission is to drive successful projects and create extraordinary experiences for teams. We are a trusted partner on transformative projects nationwide, including airports, hospitals, defense facilities and vital infrastructure. We are uniquely positioned to lead meaningful change in how the industry delivers complex projects which will have ripple effects through the industry and leave a lasting mark on our community.

Your Role: Driving Impact & Leading Excellence

As an Associate, you will be a pivotal team member responsible for the execution and delivery of our core services. You will:

  • Lead Client Engagements: Deliver stakeholder alignment services (project partnering sessions, risk assessments, community engagement, and other strategic advisory services) to clients along with our partners. You will manage engagements, produce high-quality deliverables, plan and execute client advisory sessions, and work with clients to resolve challenges and drive project momentum.
  • Develop Relationships and New Opportunities: Support the firm's growth by delivering excellent client service, developing compelling proposals, conducting market research, and helping to grow relationships.
  • Innovate: Play an active role in refining our service offerings, operational processes, and business strategy. You will help develop new tools and templates that enhance our efficiency and help the practice scale.

Who We're Looking For: Live Our Values

We seek energetic leaders who align with our values: Make an Impact, Prioritize Relationships, One Team, and Deliver Excellence.

  • Foundational Experience: Bachelor's degree required with 3-5 years of professional experience in construction, real estate development, or consulting. Specific exposure to jobsite dynamics, project delivery models, or Lean Construction principles is highly valued.
  • Effective Communicator: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adept at operating in team environments and engaging confidently with senior-level leaders.
  • High Standards of Quality. Ability to design and create polished deliverables - documents, spreadsheets, and slide presentations.
  • Excellent Organizational Skills: You are highly organized and detail-oriented. You have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Growth Mindset: Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, and innovative environment; comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving results. Possesses drive, a positive solution-focused attitude, and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Travel: Ability to travel as required (2-4 days per month), both locally and across the USA, to support our nationwide client engagements.
